Crimean Bridge reopened partially, Russia says

An explosion on the Crimean Bridge, connecting Russia’s mainland to the annexed Crimean Peninsula, resulted in the death of a couple and injuries to their daughters. Russia, blaming Ukraine for the attack, partially reopened the bridge to traffic. Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin expects two-way traffic to resume by mid-September following restoration works. This bridge, with strategic significance, was partially destroyed in a fuel tanker explosion in October 2022, but was promptly repaired and reopened.
