Russian forces have launched multiple airstrikes on Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second-largest city. The city has witnessed destruction of residential buildings and cars, where people continue daily life amid Russian shellings. On the other hand, destroyed tanks belonging to Russian army were captured in the city.
In his latest statement regarding the attacks, Kharkiv Governor Oleg Sinegubov stated that different parts of the city were hit, and said, “The Russian occupation forces struck the Saltovki, Alekseyevki, Holodnoy Goriy, Chuguyeva and Dergachev areas of the city in the last 24 hours. As a result of the attacks, shopping centers and houses were damaged, fires broke out. According to the information of the Ukrainian General Staff, military unmanned aerial vehicles were detected flying. The city of Kharkiv continues its defense,” he said.
