Dani Alves Sentenced to 4 years, 6 months in Prison

Brazilian football player Dani Alves, who was accused of sexually assaulting a young woman in the toilet of a nightclub in Barcelona on December 30, 2022, and was arrested afterwards, was sentenced to 4 years and 6 months in prison. Additionally, he was fined 150,000 euros and will be under police supervision for 5 years later on.

The decision of the Barcelona Court is not final, and Alves has the right to appeal to the Supreme Court of Justice of Catalonia and the Supreme Court of Spain.
