The Efes-2024 Combined Joint Actual Fire Field Exercise, under the command of the Aegean Army in Izmir, began its daytime phase with land bombardment from the sea. Türkiye’s president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, along with Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler, Chief of General Staff General Metin Gürak, and other military leaders, attended the event. Distinguished observers from various countries also witnessed the exercise. Following the successful completion of the night phase, the daytime maneuvers were conducted at the Doğanbey Firing Exercise Area in Seferihisar.
