The Spanish capital Barcelona is celebrating the new year with Barcelona Christmas Festival and lightning decorations on big avenues and significant places until December 30th.
The festival which will be taking place in the two main squares, Placa Catalunya and Placa Universitat is welcoming the public with a hundred activities such as concerts and cinema and other special shows.
While outstanding structures such as Sagrada Familia Cathedral and Maritime Museum were decorated with lightings that offered enchanting shows, the Barcelona port was equipped with 85,000 LED lights that shine in harmony with music.
