Deadly Protests Erupt in Kenya Over Tax Bill

 

Protests against a tax increase bill in Nairobi, Kenya, turned violent, resulting in at least five deaths. Demonstrators stormed and set fire to the parliament and city hall. Police used tear gas, water cannons, and live ammunition to disperse the crowds, causing dozens of injuries.
