Deadly Strike Causes Destruction in Tehran, Iran

A strike on civilian buildings in Risalat Square in Tehran, Iran, left about 40 people dead and caused widespread destruction. The attack heavily damaged several buildings in the eastern part of the capital, with some structures largely destroyed.

Residents were seen searching through the rubble and trying to recover belongings as cleanup and rescue efforts continued. A search and rescue worker at the scene said teams remain in the area despite difficult conditions, stressing that civilians should not be victims of war.
