Death Toll from Floods and Landslides in Nepal Rises to 104

The number of people who lost their lives in floods and landslides caused by heavy rainfall in the South Asian country of Nepal since Friday has risen to 104. The search for 64 missing people continues.

Tiwari, who reported that more than 3,000 security personnel were assigned to support the rescue efforts with helicopters and motorboats, said, “More than 3,000 people have been rescued.”

Domestic flights in the country, which were completely suspended since Friday evening due to weather conditions, resumed from Kathmandu this morning.
