Death toll from floods in Malaysia rises to 3

Heavy rains caused floods and landslides in different parts of the country, especially in the Johor, Pahang, Negeri Sembilan and Malacca regions of Malaysia. According to the Malaysian National Disaster Management Agency (NADMA), the number of people killed has risen to three. Approximately 35,000 people were evacuated to 128 emergency help sites located throughout the country.

The Malaysian Meteorological Service has issued a warning that heavy monsoon rains will continue to fall over the country until Sunday night.
