The number of people who lost their lives in a landslide that occurred on a highway in the Choco region of Colombia after heavy rain on Friday increased to 33. Nineteen injured casualties were sent to hospitals for treatment.
Vice President Francia Marquez Mina said that aid agencies, local authorities, police and the army were directed to the region to support search and rescue efforts.
