The death toll in South Korea’s South Gyeongsang province, which started on Friday and spread due to dry weather and winds, has risen to 4 as 2 more people, including a firefighter, lost their lives.
Authorities also reported that 6 firefighters were injured, 5 of them seriously and at least 1,500 people were evacuated to temporary shelters.
The forest fires that started in South Gyeongsang province and spread to 20 different regions had killed 2 firefighters.
