Death Toll from Typhoon Yagi in Vietnam Rises to 127

The death toll from Typhoon Yagi, which made landfall in Vietnam on Saturday and caused flooding and winds of up to 149 kilometers per hour, has risen to 127 and at least 752 people have been injured. State media reported that at least 54 people were missing as well.

About 210,000 hectares of crops were destroyed in the floods, according to the state-run Vietnam News Agency, citing agricultural officials, and at least 734,000 cattle and poultry were killed.
