Death toll in clashes in Sudan rises to 97

The number of civilians killed in conflicts between the army and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in Sudan has risen to 97, with 365 injured. The situation in Khartoum’s hospitals is getting extremely bad. Health officials claimed that clashes made it impossible for medical supplies and staff to reach the injured.

According to local accounts, the army conducted airstrikes on RSF bases in Omdurman, Kafouri, and Sharg El-Nil. The fighting continued near Khartoum’s military headquarters; RSF fighters stationed snipers in the buildings, but the army maintained control of the situation.
