Pakistan National Disaster Management Agency reported that the number of people who lost their lives due to floods and lightning strikes increased to 87 and the number of injured increased to 82. It was stated that 36 of the deaths were in the northwestern province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 25 were in Punjab, 15 were in Balochistan province and 11 were in in Kashmir.
Authorities warned that heavy rain and storms will continue to affect and that the rains may cause sudden floods in many parts of the country.
