Death Toll in Japan’s Ishikawa Rises to 213

The death toll in Ishikawa Prefecture, jolted by a 7.6-magnitude earthquake on January 1, was updated as 98 in Suzu city, 83 in Wajima city, 20 in Anamizu, 5 in Nanao city, 4 in Noto town, 2 in Shika town, and 1 in Hakui city. The total number of those who lost their lives increased to 213 and the number of injured increased to 567, according to authorities. Search efforts continue for 52 people.
