The death toll in Lebanon has reached 1,540 as Israeli attacks continue to intensify since October 8, 2023. Lebanon’s Disaster Risk Management Unit confirmed that 60 people were killed and 81 injured in Israeli strikes across the country yesterday. The number of displaced people placed in shelters has risen to 77,100, while 31,730 individuals have crossed into Syria due to the attacks. Additionally, Hezbollah confirmed the death of Air Force Commander Mohammed Hussein Sarur, who was killed in an Israeli strike south of Beirut. Sarur had coordinated UAV and missile attacks against Israel.
