Death toll rises to 157 due to freezing temperatures in Afghanistan

The Spokesperson for the Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority (ANDMA), Shafiullah Rahimi, reported that 157 people have died in Afghanistan during the coldest winter season in the last 15 years as a result of the freezing temperatures. He stated that, nearly 70,000 farm animals across the nation perished from freezing.
