The number of people who were killed in the forest fires that ravaged many provinces in Algeria rose to 65, including 28 soldiers and 37 civilians. Prime Minister Ayman Benabderrahmane stated that the government sought help from the international community and was in talks with countries to charter aircraft to extinguish the fires.
