Decorated Camels Displayed Ahead of Eid al-Adha in Pakistan

At Asia’s largest animal market in Karachi, Pakistan, camels adorned with traditional motifs were displayed ahead of Eid al-Adha. Camel barber Hasan Ali, known for his intricate designs, spends about four hours decorating each camel. This practice not only enhances the camels’ value but also reflects Ali’s passion. Camel owners believe that the elaborate decorations significantly increase the animals’ market price. The annual event attracts significant attention from buyers and visitors, adding cultural vibrancy to the market.
