Former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin,45 was found guilty Tuesday on all the three criminal charges in the murder of George Floyd in May, 2020. He was convicted of second and third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter for kneeling on Floyd’s neck for 9 minutes and 29 seconds, choking 46-year-old black man to death.
George Floyd’s murder has sparked “Black Lives Matter” protests over racism and policing in the United States and around the world.
