The desert dust storm traveling from the West African country of Mali covered all structures and vehicles in dust in Türkiye’s Izmir province.
Prof. Dr. Doğan Yaşar, who warned those with respiratory conditions such as asthma to wear masks and that mud rain can occur, also touched on the benefits of desert dust, saying it’s a “tremendous advantage for nature” that increases fertility.
