Over 250,000 Palestinians living in the east of the Khan Younis region in the south of the Gaza Strip began to return to their homes that they were forced to evacuate 3 days ago on the grounds that the Israeli army would carry out a “military operation” in the region.
“I was displaced in Rafah and returned to my home in Al-Zanna district, east of Khan Younis, when the Israeli attacks in Khan Younis ended last April. They told Palestinians to evacuate their homes immediately. This caused panic and people started taking their belongings and leaving their homes,” said Amal Abu Zaydah, also mentioning that she spent two nights on the streets and is now waiting for her relative to take her home.
