Dog Becomes School Mascot in Türkiye

A dog named Fındık (Hazelnut,) adopted by a school in Kayseri six years ago, has become a beloved mascot at a high school. Originally a stray, Fındık followed students to the school and was embraced by the administration and teachers.

Now a cherished companion, Fındık spends time in the vice principal’s office, attends lessons alongside students, and delights children from integrated and kindergarten schools, bringing joy and fostering a warm school environment.
