Dozens injured in Deadly Explosion at Warehouse in Uzbekistan

An explosion occurred at a warehouse belonging to a logistics company near the international airport in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. One person died, and 163 people were injured. The explosion shattered windows in nearby houses and caused a fire that was eventually brought under control by 16 fire brigades. A 17-year-old child was among the fatalities, with 24 injured individuals hospitalized and the rest treated at the scene. The cause of the explosion is under investigation, with speculation that it may have been linked to electric car batteries stored in the warehouse. Fortunately, the explosion did not disrupt operations at the International Tashkent Airport.
