Dozens Injured in Passenger Train Collision in Czech Republic

Two passenger trains collided between the towns of Zliv and Divcice in the Ceske Budejovice region, about 132 km south of Prague. Authorities reported that 57 people were injured, including three in serious condition.

Czech Transport Minister Martin Kupka said emergency teams evacuated passengers and confirmed that early findings suggest one train passed a stop signal. An investigation is underway.
