Drone Attacks Hit Oil Fields in Northern Iraq’s Kurdistan Region

Unmanned aerial vehicles targeted oil fields in Iraq’s KRG region, including a major strike on the Badre oil field in Duhok’s Sheikhan district, causing explosions and fire. The KRG’s Counter-Terrorism Unit reported that four drones hit three oil fields in Zakho and Duhok. Similar attacks were also reported this week in Erbil and Sulaymaniyah.
