Drones Crash in Northern Iraq

Two unmanned drones crashed early this morning in Erbil, the capital of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region, including one that struck a house in the central Karzian district. Fortunately, the residence was empty, resulting in only material damage and no casualties, while the second drone landed harmlessly in a nearby vacant field. Erbil’s governor revealed that the city has been subjected to over 500 similar drone attacks since the onset of ongoing regional conflicts. He is now urging the federal government in Baghdad to take a decisive stance against the strikes and provide urgent financial compensation for those affected.
