Drones Disrupt Flights in Denmark and Norway

Copenhagen Airport in Denmark and Oslo Airport in Norway were shut down for about four hours after large drones were spotted nearby. Around 20,000 passengers were affected, with 31 flights diverted and nearly 100 delayed or canceled.

Danish Police Chief Jens Jespersen said the drones were flown by a “skilled operator” showing off, though no suspects have been identified. In Norway, all flights at Oslo Airport were diverted until the airspace reopened.
