An antique shop in the Akçakoca district of Düzce has become a popular destination for visitors from across Türkiye seeking a connection to the past. Operating in the Historical Neighborhood Market, the store features a wide array of vintage items, including old radios, record players, and rotary telephones. “Seeing the products we used in the past revives our memories,” said Hasan Alkan, a visitor from Istanbul, while his wife Hatice explained they purchase these items to ensure their children “grow up in this atmosphere.” Another visitor, Nuri Akçay, highlighted the profound emotional impact of the collection, noting that the valuable nostalgic pieces instantly “took me back to my childhood.”
