The Divriği Kale Mosque in Sivas, Türkiye, stands out for its unique minaret-free design and cliffside location. Built in 1180 by Emir İshak during the Mengücek Principality Period, this 844-year-old structure is one of Anatolia’s oldest Turkish monuments. Despite its rich history, the mosque was in ruins for years until restoration was completed in 2008. Now, it awaits reopening for worship. Located in Divriği, a district known for its historical and cultural heritage, the mosque enhances the area’s growing tourist appeal, alongside other landmarks like the Ulu Mosque and Hospital, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
