earthquake hits southern coast of Indonesia

A 7.4 magnitude earthquake struck 12 kilometers off the coast of South Sulawesi province on Indonesia’s Flores Sea coast, injuring one person. A tsunami warning has been issued for the Maluku, East Nusa Tenggara, West Nusa Tenggara, Southeast, and South Sulawesi regions of the country. The tsunami warning was lifted two hours later in the region where severe shaking was felt.
