Earthquake in Northern Afghanistan Kills 20, Injures Over 300

A 6.3-magnitude earthquake struck near Mazar-i-Sharif in northern Afghanistan, killing at least 20 people and injuring around 320. The quake, centered 28 kilometers deep, caused heavy damage across Balkh, Samangan, and Baghlan provinces.

Rescue and medical teams have been deployed as authorities fear the death toll could rise. Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid expressed condolences, while the Health Ministry said all hospitals are on alert to treat the injured.
