Eastern US hit by severe storms

Severe storms and tornadoes caused chaos in states in the eastern United States. It was recorded that a 15-year-old boy died in Anderson County when a tree fell on him, and a 28-year-old man died as a result of lightning strikes in Florence.

Power outages occurred in 1.1 million homes in many states, and 2,600 flights were canceled and 7,900 flights were delayed as of yesterday. The adverse weather conditions have affected more than 29.5 million people in total.
