Education Suspended at French University After Anti-Israeli Protests

Following the pro-Palestinian demonstrations that started at the Paris Institute of Political Sciences in Paris, the capital of France, which is considered one of the most prestigious universities in the country, education was suspended for a day. The school’s management instructed its staff to work from home but made no statement on the situation. The street where the campus is located was closed to entrances and exits by police.

The university committee, consisting of pro-Palestinian students, stated yesterday that 6 students started a hunger strike and that it will continue until the university board agrees to go over its relations with Israeli universities. However, the deputy administrator of the university rejected this request in the meeting with student representatives.
