The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that an Egyptian police officer opened fire on 2 Israeli tourists and an Egyptian tourist guide in the Menshiyye district of the city of Alexandria. All three died at the scene. According to the local security sources, the officer was taken into custody.
