Eiffel Tower welcomes visitors after long wait of pandemic

The Eiffel Tower reopened to visitors four days after French President Emmanuel Macron made the Covid-19 vaccine mandatory for those working in the health and restaurant industries. The tower’s daily visitors were initially limited to 10,000 from 25,000. However, as the corona virus decreased around the world, the Eiffel Tower’s restrictions were lifted. Paris began to welcome visitors from all over the world after travel restrictions were lifted.

The Eiffel Tower, one of France’s most visited attractions, was closed for 104 days in 2020 due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
