A school bus carrying 29 people, 27 of whom were students, and a truck collided in Balikesir, Türkiye, at around 8:50 local time yesterday. According to initial reports, 8 students were heavily injured in the overturned school bus and were taken to nearby hospitals.
Authorities announced that an investigation has been launched into the accident.
