England Prepares for Early Election

England will hold a snap general election tomorrow, the first since Brexit. Over 45 million voters will choose new members for the 650-seat House of Commons. For the first time, photo ID is required to vote. Polls indicate a strong lead for Keir Starmer’s Labor Party over Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s Conservatives. If accurate, this could end the Conservatives’ 14-year rule. The new government will face economic challenges and international conflicts.
