Erdoğan and Zelensky Held Meeting in New York, US

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting at the Turkevi in ​​the US city of New York, where they attended the 79th United Nations General Assembly. The two discussed bilateral relations between their countries, the course of the Ukraine-Russia war, peace efforts, and regional and global issues.

During the meeting, President Erdoğan stated that Türkiye is ready to take all kinds of facilitating steps, including mediation, for a just and lasting peace between Ukraine and Russia, and that efforts will continue to revive the Black Sea Grain Initiative and ensure a ceasefire that can open the door to peace between the two countries.
