Erdoğan in Kazakhstan for Key Strategic Talks

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan arrived in Astana on Wednesday for an official visit to Kazakhstan, his first in two years, where he was welcomed with military honors by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The visit centers on the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) summit and the co-chairing of the Sixth High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council to bolster bilateral ties. Alongside a high-ranking delegation, Erdoğan is scheduled to sign several new agreements and attend a joint business forum to expand economic cooperation. The trip also features a visit to an artificial intelligence center and the symbolic inauguration of a school built by Kazakhstan in Turkey’s earthquake-stricken Gaziantep province. After concluding his meetings in the capital, the President will travel to the historic city of Turkestan.
