Erdoğan Meets Chinese Officials In Tianjin

 

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met senior Communist Party official Say Qi in Tianjin during the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit. Erdoğan emphasized strengthening cooperation with China in trade, energy, and global platforms such as the UN, G20, BRICS, and the SCO.

He noted bilateral trade is nearing $50 billion and called for balanced growth. Several Turkish ministers joined the meeting, following Erdoğan’s talks with President Xi Jinping a day earlier.
