Erdoğan Meets Trump in The Hague

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with US President Donald Trump during the NATO Summit in The Hague to discuss Türkiye-US ties and regional issues. Erdoğan emphasized expanding cooperation in energy, investment, and defense to reach a $100 billion trade target.

He welcomed the US-brokered ceasefire between Israel and Iran and called for lasting peace, highlighting the need for dialogue to end the Gaza crisis and resolve the Russia-Ukraine war. Both leaders stressed NATO unity and boosting the alliance’s deterrent power.
