National Center for Disaster Prevention (Cenapred) reported that Popocatepetl Volcano erupted once and emitted gas 52 times.
People in Puebla and Tlaxcala states were advised to take precautions against possible ashfall and mudflows that may occur with rain since ashes spread towards that direction. Authorities also warned the locals to stay away from the vicinity in case stones and pebbles may fall into the environment as the volcano is expected to continue its activities.
