Fourteen people were injured when an escalator suddenly reversed at Sunae Subway Station in Seongnam, South Korea. Passengers on the escalator lost their balance and fell as a result. Security camera footage captured the incident, and while three individuals were treated for back and leg injuries at the hospital, none of the injuries were life-threatening. An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the malfunction.
