EU Leaders Agree on €50B Fund for Ukraine

EU Council President Charles Michel announced that an agreement was reached to provide 50 billion euros of financial aid to Ukraine after the summit held in Brussels, the capital of Belgium. Within the scope of the aid plan, 33 billion Euros in loans and 17 billion Euros in grants will be provided to Ukraine between 2024 and 2027.

Although Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban opposed the plan, he was later persuaded by other leaders.
