EU Says Denmark And Greenland Borders Are Non-Negotiable

Ursula von der Leyen said the territorial integrity of Denmark and Greenland is non-negotiable, speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos. She said Europe will work with the United States and partners to strengthen Arctic security, calling it a shared interest. Von der Leyen stressed the need for European strategic independence, simpler business rules, and stronger energy and defense capacity. She also warned that new tariffs between long-time allies would be a mistake. The EU chief said Europe will continue backing Ukraine until a just and lasting peace is achieved.
