Evacuation of Turkish Citizens from Ukraine continues

Evacuation of Turkish citizens in Ukraine continues. Turkish citizens who come to Lviv, especially from the regions of the country where conflicts are intense, are taken to Turkey by buses arranged by the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Citizens who escaped the attacks of Russia and reached the evacuation buses experience great happiness.

A Turkish woman, who left Donetsk, one of the regions where the conflicts were most intense, and reached Lviv to be evacuated, said in a statement, “You took care of us, you brought us here. I never thought we could get out of there. I came out with my grandchildren. I came here and cried when I saw the buses.”

Stating that the war was approaching the area they lived in and they were able to reach Lviv after a difficult journey, Shamil Süleymanli said, “We are coming from Donetsk. The war had come close to us. Our journey took two days by train. Bombs fell on the houses of our close friends. The situation is very bad,” he said.
