An explosion occurred at a gas station in Grozny, the capital of Chechnya, Russia, in the evening hours, killing 4 people, including 2 children and damaging many houses and vehicles nearby.
The Russian Emergencies Ministry reported that the explosion, which caused a fire spreading to an area of 900 square meters, occurred due to a compression in the station’s warehouse.
The Grozny Prosecutor’s Office announced that an investigation has been launched into the incident.
