An explosion occurred at the natural gas plant of the Russian energy company Gazprom in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Region of Russia. Fire departments of the natural gas plant owned by the Russian energy company Gazprom and the units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia intervened in the explosion, which occurred due to the increase in pressure at the connection points of the natural gas pipelines.
The press service of Gazprom Dobycha Yamburg LLC stated that the fire was brought under control and said, “On June 16, a fire occurred due to pressure in the 2nd line of the gas collector located between the integrated gas treatment units UKPG-7 and UKPG-8V in Urengoyskoye.
