An explosion occurred in the electricity distribution transformer on the subway line in Mexico City, the capital of Mexico. The transformer explosion caused widespread panic among passengers, and the subway line’s service was halted following the incident. Around 1,400 passengers were evacuated for security reasons by security forces.
